Guardian provides the opportunity for the general public to initiate a mass community notification immediately in response to a missing person. The notifications are deployed within 15 minutes of our 24/7 support line being alerted.
This program is provided as a community service, developed to reduce the overall time between someone going missing and being found.
OnCall understands that having a loved one go missing is a traumatic experience. What is required during this emotional time is a simple, efficient and most importantly a very quick way of garnishing the help and support of your local community.
Through the utilisation of revolutionary technology, OnCall Guardian ensures that you are fully supported in this time of need.
This service has been developed for the direct benefit of the community. OnCall offers this service to the public, enabling anyone anywhere in Australia to ask for instant help.
OnCall Guardian is not designed to replace existing professional agencies but rather to aid, assist and provide them with as much data and feedback from the community as possible.
Built on the foundations of our industry leading OnCall EmergencyContact. Guardian provides the ability to notify an entire community in a short period of time, alerting them of a missing person and requesting their support.
Once a call is received into our 24/7 support centre, a tailored emergency missing person message is generated. The caller then has the ability to choose the geographical area that they would like the message disseminated too. When the caller approves the message, it is sent out to the community at an approximate rate of 1,000 households per minute. This high volume of calls ensures Guardian that an entire suburb/community is notified within minutes.
This is an example message out to a community about a missing child:
